A Great Deaf Community, numbering in the tens of thousands, exists in our area. This community is mostly unevangelized.

 

Current efforts to reach this community for Christ have experienced little success. Efforts to integrate Deaf Christians into the social and administrative functions of the church have often ended in frustration.

 

Therefore, we have come together into this association where the programs and activities of the church shall emphasize Deaf Culture and language. Colossians 1:28 expresses our goal of maturity in Christ Jesus which shall be greatly promoted by opportunity for expression and use of God given gifts in the assembly.

 

Further, we affirm that we are an evangelical, independent, fundamental, biblical testimony and fellowship.
